What’s up with the speed of innovation in Health?

The health domain is probably the most conservative of all. Changes are extremely slow which is not a good thing. Although it is certainly understandable because we are talking about the most important thing for each of us. Its our health.

I wonder in the context of the AI boom which will obviously last until the end of the decade how will legislation and regulation change? How much will it keep up if it is extremely slow even now. Will the regulator be of any help or will it become an inhibiting factor.

Look at GitHub Copilot, Devin. Sooner or later we will come to a world where writing code directly by hand will become something like riding a horse. You can of course, but you’re unlikely to comfortable travel from San Francisco to New York that way.

One thing is clear. The speed of product development will only increase. Products will become more powerful and solve more and more complex customer needs. How quickly will health-related products reach the consumer? Hmm, it’s really big question.

So far we have more questions than answers. Well, the future is coming very fast. So we’ll be seeing these changes in real time. And we’ll even have a hand in some of them 🙂
